For the Desolve Autumn/Winter '24 collection we set out to capture a dream road trip and fishing adventure for our target market with a unique spin - showcasing a hidden gem location at an unusual time of year.
For most customers, this season was a time to pack away their rods so my goal was to make winter attractive in a new way, cut against the grain of the industry and showcase the new collection in a jaw droppoing environment.
My concept was to film a trip of a lifetime in five days ulitlising local experts and brand ambassadors to create a cinematic vlog style short film. This story, along with the photo and video footage captured during the trip, would supply the entire campaigns content for six months - enabling a cohesive marketing campaign across all digital and physical outputs. We focussed on capturing raw moments of personality and humour to give the content a relatability and therefore the brand as a whole. We pushed the extremes from fishing down to underwater canyons, to casting infront of huge dumping waves and cooking the days catch by bonfire for dinner to celebrate the bounty. We complimented the field footage with in-house studio footage for the product marketing requirements selling online and in stores.
